Bronc Buster
Inspired by that fleeting moment of stillness when the rodeo pair is airborne at the point of impending action.

I paint to capture the visual poetry of the natural world. Using traditional oil techniques, I create scenes that reflect my deep appreciation for stillness—florals in soft bloom, wide rural landscapes, and the quiet strength of animals.
My inspiration comes from the way nature arranges itself—how loose lines and abstract shapes slowly come together, guided by color and light, to form something recognizable and real. There's a kind of magic in that transformation, where the abstract becomes intimate.
Each painting is an invitation to pause, to notice the subtleties: a shift in light, the curve of a petal, the gentle presence of an animal in its element. I hope my work offers a moment of calm—a reminder of the beauty that lives in the details, and the stillness waiting just beyond the noise.
